Her Birth brings misery or happiness?

Her Birth brings misery or happiness?
By Anubhav Singh

The day I was born, I don’t remember
Numb faces present there is all I remember
All that I was expecting a fake smile
But they look a little fragile
Already they have their own cognition
With just expecting nothing less than son
Grown up through to meet their demand
I was a product to them of a local brand
No one was standing beyond me
All there was me and my shadow
Everyone was trying to put us low
I asked shadow to be a little stiff
It’s time to reach that topmost cliff
Struggle is about to end
Just trying to change the trend
If you’ve grown up out of cradle
See this time daughters with medal
Start accepting the future of society
Choosing daughters over son as priority
Either you choose either you lose
